Josie Long
Three-time Edinburgh Comedy Award nominee and very-hard-to-pin-down-indie-underdog-nightmare Josie Long is back with a brand new show after a brief hiatus, during which she had a baby and so on.
How do you bring someone into a world that everyone keeps telling you is ending? This show is about the mind-bending intensity of new motherhood, but mostly about kindness, gentleness, and joy - all in all, the edgiest thing you will see this year. The aim is for you to come out of it feeling optimistic about the future, although that is a big ask. At the very least there will be some really silly voices in it, and that’s not nothing.

Titania McGrath
Feelings don’t care about your facts…
Titania McGrath is a world-renowned millennial icon and radical intersectionalist poet committed to feminism, social justice and armed peaceful protest, and she’s coming to show you – yes, YOU – why you are wrong about everything!
MXINFESTO takes the form of a confrontational lecture in which Titania guides her audience through the, often bewildering, array of terminology and concepts that constitute 21stcentury “wokeness”. New words such as “manterrupting”, “microaggressions” and “heteronormativity” often leave the general public bemused, particularly if they don’t read the Guardian.
Having conquered the world of social media, Titania is now generously bestowing her wisdom onto a live audience. Her step-by-step guide will enable her audience to become the woke people they need to be in an increasingly progressive world. In a non-patronising manner, Titania will explain where exactly they are going wrong and how to be more like her.

Jason Byrne: Audience Precipitation
He’s back for more comedy chaos! Jason has learnt over the past few years that we all need to “play” a bit more in our lives.
With this in mind, Jason will do what he does best, connecting with the audience in a way no other comic can. Whether it’s inviting or dragging (as it has been known) people up onto stage and making a “holy show of them” as they say in Ireland.
Jason’s Audience Precipitation, will be a laugh out loud, must see show, with a light drizzle of audience participation… ooohhh clever that.
Also seen on Live at the Apollo (BBC1), The Royal Variety Performance (ITV1), The John Bishop Show (BBC1), and Father Figure (BBC1) Ireland’s Got Talent (Virgin), Wild Things (Sky1)

Austentatious
Austentatious is saddling the horses for a Grand Tour of the United Kingdom!
Austentatious is an improvised comedy play starring a cast of the country’s quickest comic performers. Every single show the cast conjures up a brand new ‘lost’ Jane Austen novel based on nothing more than a title suggested by the audience.
The show comes fresh from multiple sellout runs at the Edinburgh Fringe, a weekly residency in London’s West End and a BBC Radio 4 Christmas special. Now Austentatious will be appearing at theatres across the country to entertain and astonish audiences in equal measure.
Previous ‘lost’ masterpieces have included Double 0 Darcy, Game of Scones and The Wickham Man, and no two shows are ever the same. Performed in period costume with live musical accompaniment, this is a Regency treat guaranteed to delight Austen novices and die-hard fans alike.
★★★★★ “Ridiculously silly…wickedly funny” – The Times
★★★★ “Brilliant…these are comedians at the top of their game” – The Telegraph
★★★★ “A joy to behold” – The Guardian
★★★★ “Supersmart and terrifically funny” – The Scotsman
Austentatious said: “We are beyond delighted to be back on the road, and can’t wait to shine a spotlight on some of Austen’s lesser-known ‘classics’ – from Empire Line of Duty to Bennet Like Beckham. Prepare the barouche!”
Austentatious is performed by:
Amy Cooke-Hodgson
Graham Dickson
Charlotte Gittins
Cariad Lloyd
Joseph Morpurgo
Andrew Hunter Murray
Daniel Nils Roberts
Rachel Parris
Lauren Shearing
Line-up varies. Each show stars 5-6 members of the cast.

Andy Parsons – Healing The Nation
BORIS JOHNSON replaces Theresa May as PM. Show REWRITTEN.
The 2019 GENERAL ELECTION happens. Show REWRITTEN again.
COVID-19 arrives – show REWRITTEN for the third time.
So the 2019/2020 HEALING THE NATION TOUR has become the 2019/2020/2021 HEALING THE NATION TOUR, and as the tour has gone on, there’s been less and less healing and more and more of the opposite. Admittedly, I could have changed the title but it still seemed strangely appropriate - and some of the gigs have been rescheduled so it would prove confusingto existing ticket holders if the ticket said “HEALING THE NATION” but the show was now called “MY LIFE IN BALLET”.
So, we have the serially rewritten HEALING THE NATION TOUR 2019/2020 now EXTENDED INTO 2021, not so much due to POPULAR DEMAND but more lack of OPEN VENUES. And with NEGATIVE POWERS OF HEALING. Yet this latest, very new version of the show is my FAVOURITE so far.

Funny things happen all the time. Normal events don’t catch the eye but Dave’s special radar instinctively draws him to the small out-of-the-ordinary events and conversations that wash over most of us and pass us by. Once identified, he applies his unique style of exaggerating and elaborating them whilst reminding us that we too have not only witnessed them, it’s probably happened to us! It’s this added dimension, this comedy of association that elevates the event to laugh-out-loud funny.
