Like our previous festivals, we have a musical feast in store for you with two talented and highly entertaining group of singers and musicians from the North West. They are: the Pakistani Urooj Qawal Group and the Syrian Damascus Breeze band for traditional and Nasheed songs.

A celebration of the wonderful musical talents of primary school aged children from across the Salford Community

Children from across Salford have been taking part in Whole Class Instrumental Tuition through our Music and Performing Arts Service (MAPAS).

Children have been learning musical instruments together as part of their whole class activities, and also learning to play together in an ensemble. This is a fantastic opportunity for them to develop confidence, work together as a team and build their wellbeing, as well as learning lifelong musical skills.

We are celebrating the children’s amazing achievements by bringing them all together as one. Children will perform pieces they have been working on in class, and will also join together to sing and play in a massed performance.

Each school has been allocated their own slot on a particular day and time, so if in doubt, please check with your child’s school to ensure you book tickets for the right event.
